It’s a 19th‑century devotional Catholic folk art from Central Europe, made with paper, fabric flowers, embossed foil, and plaster reliefs.
Age: circa 1870–1910.
A religious devotional collage featuring Mary and the Child Jesus, surrounded by paper flowers, lambs and angels.
This type of object was commonly made in Austria, Germany, Poland, and Belgium as home altars.
