This oil on canvas work offers a close-up in a photorealistic style that pays homage to the famed Cuban tobacco tradition. The composition, arranged on a pronounced diagonal, stands out for warm and enveloping lighting that highlights the gold, amber and nutmeg tones of the tobacco leaves, capturing with meticulous detail the delicate texture of the leaf venation. The artist places special emphasis on the meticulous treatment of the distinctive rings of the renowned Cohiba brand, achieving precise technical fidelity in the typography, geometric patterns and the color contrasts between black, yellow and the golden details. The formal balance and the syntactic richness of the volume make this framing a piece of great visual refinement and classical elegance.
