Description from the seller
SARL de Rochebin – Saint-Amour Cru 2022 is a red wine from Beaujolais, made from Gamay. Producer: Domaine de Rochebin / SARL de Rochebin Origin: Saint-Amour, Beaujolais, France Appellation: Saint-Amour Cru Vintage: 2022 Grape: Gamay Color: Red Alcohol: Approximately 13.5% Saint-Amour is one of the 10 Crus of Beaujolais and is located in the far north of the region. The Rochebin 2022 is described as a fairly soft and fruity Saint-Amour. Think of: cherries, blackcurrants, violets, red fruit, a light spiciness, and soft, silky tannins. The wine therefore has plenty of fruit and freshness, but is not heavy or clunky. Moreover, the 2022 is a remarkably good and ripe Beaujolais vintage.
Drinking time: 2026–2028 is fine. Saint-Amour can age for several years, but I would drink this Rochebin primarily on its fruitiness. Serving temperature: approximately 13–15 °C. Optionally, open 20–30 minutes beforehand or decant slightly.
