Beautiful and spectacular Chinese propaganda poster dated 1967, from the height of the Cultural Revolution.

The composition gathers several scenes and revolutionary slogans around the figure of Mao Zedong, depicted multiple times. It also features workers, soldiers and activists brandishing the famous Little Red Book.

The inscription “毛主席万岁！万岁！万万岁！” means “Long live Chairman Mao! Long live! Long, long live Chairman Mao!”. In the bottom left is the mention 太原工人造反兵团, referring to a rebellious workers’ group from Taiyuan, with the date 1967.

Dimensions: 76 × 51.5 cm.

Printed in red and black on aged paper. The poster shows original creases, light marks, small scuffs and signs of time, visible in the photographs, while retaining very beautiful colors.

A particularly graphic piece rich in iconography, representative of Chinese propaganda during the Cultural Revolution.
