Vintage BMF pig-shaped serving plank in wood and metal alloy, manufactured in Germany in the 1950s–1960s, about 42 cm long and 25 cm wide, in excellent vintage condition with light wear.

Giant Vintage BMF Serving Board 'Pig' – Wood & Metal – 1950s/60s – Germany
Beautiful and characteristic vintage charcuterie / serving board in the shape of a pig, produced by the renowned German manufacturer BMF (Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik) in Nuremberg, probably dating from the 1950s or 1960s.
This is the sought-after large model. The head and the curly tail of the pig are very detailed in a heavy chrome-plated metal alloy. The middle part consists of a sturdy oval wooden board with a handy juice groove all around, ideal for serving ham, sausage, cheese or other tapas.
On the underside the board bears the original stamped factory mark: the well-known triangular BMF N logo (Nuremberg), which guarantees the authenticity of this piece.
