École Française (1980s) - La Journée Spléndide

- Oil on canvas by the artist.

- In the golden penumbra of a palatial Parisian apartment, a blonde goddess emerges from silk sheets after a night of debauchery and excess. Completely naked, with her tangled golden mane and alabaster skin shining under the dawn light filtering through the windows, she glides with the ethereal grace of a sylph toward a monumental gilded-framed mirror. There, she contemplates herself with a mix of narcissism and devotion, turning her head to admire her impeccable slenderness. With a self-possessed, enamored gaze, she convinces herself that her perfect pallor, far from a sign of fatigue, is the glorious and perversely sculpted fruit of a diet of cigarettes, sophisticated cocktails, and those eternal white early mornings that have shaped her body into a living work of art.

- Unframed image dimensions: 50 x 61 cm / 60 x 71 cm with exclusive custom frame.

Thus, we guarantee that every work leaving our gallery is a unique piece in the world, with no replica, and a testament to the innovation and passion of the artists we work with.

Certain lots, due to their age and value, require an export permit issued by the Ministry of Culture. Although this is an administrative procedure, it is essential to ensure the authenticity of the work and its free circulation at an international level.

Montbaron Gallery is committed to offering its clients original, unique, and irreproducible works of art, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of each piece in our collection. To ensure transparency and trust in every purchase, we offer a digital Guarantee Certificate, signed by a certified art historian. This certificate attests that the purchased work has been authenticated by our specialists, who verify authorship, origin, and condition. The Guarantee Certificate includes complete details about the piece, such as the author, date of creation, technique used, and dimensions. The digital Guarantee Certificate will be issued upon the client’s request, providing an official reference for the acquired piece. This document will be delivered in digital format and will be signed by an art historian from our gallery, ensuring its validity and backing.

We are committed to our clients’ satisfaction and trust, so any questions about authenticity or the condition of the work will be handled professionally and diligently. To request your Guarantee Certificate, please contact us through our usual channels.
