AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Beautiful Silver 925 pendant, azurite, chrysocolla and malachite from Peru.

Azurite is a blue mineral formed by atmospheric agents in the upper oxidation zone of copper ore. Its name derives from the blue color of the stone. It was also used in ancient times and during the Middle Ages as a pigment and colorant, as it was valued for its beautiful range of blue colors and was very popular among painters in the Middle Ages.
Today it is still used as a base color for some paintings.

Chrysocolla derives its name from the Greek words "chrysos" meaning gold, and "kolla" meaning glue.

Malachite is a mineral named after the mallow plant, from Greek malàhe meaning literally "soft"; the reference is not to the color of its flower but to that of its leaves, both in tone and to the emollient substances derived from them.

It is mined in different shades of bright green, from lighter to darker, most visibly in specimens with well-defined zoning and separated by white veins that create very evocative patterns.
