Busco, Colored in IKB, an original mixed media acrylic painting in blue, 50 by 40 cm, from the Netherlands, hand-signed, in excellent condition, dated 2026, sold directly by the artist, a unique work packaged in a wooden case with insured shipping and a tracking code within 3 business days.
Description from the seller
Inspired by the color International Klein Blue (IKB), this work has come into being.
The French artist Yves Klein experimented with ultramarine pigment and a special fixative polyvinyl acetate, then known as Rhodopas. That, in contrast to ordinary fixatives, did not diminish the gloss (depth) of the color. Unlike the usual blue paint, in which the fixing liquid, the medium in which the colored particles are trapped, for the eye provides a reflection that detracts from the effect that is stronger with ground pigment (less glossy), IKB, especially on three‑dimensional objects for the human eye, has a granular or fluffy appearance. The objects painted with IKB thus appear powdery or very finely sintered.
All my works are unique and offered by myself. Many of my works are part of both business and private collections around the world.
The work is packed very carefully in a wooden crate and, after payment, shipped insured within 3 working days, provided with a track and trace code.
