Decorative ornament (2) - Mallorca - Italy - Pair of Sicilian pinecones

Beautiful pair of Sicilian pine cones made strictly by hand by ceramic masters from Caltagirone. Composed of one cone 21 cm tall and 14 cm wide, with the stem hand-painted. The second one in a single color. The Sicilian pine cone is a symbol of luck and good omen for the recipient, a modern design while maintaining the classic style. In ancient Greece, the pine cone represented the god of male fertility and prosperity. They are symbols of spiritual wisdom. Each scale is shaped by hand (the original ones from Caltagirone).
