Pölzl Peter - PöP Art - "BUE MARINO" (XXL)

This unique original work by Pölzl Peter / poep-art – is 100% handmade. Made in Italy

The “leitprofil” (guiding profile) for the explanation of my pictures is best described in numerous images as a deliberate rejection of linguistic specification. For PöP, talking about art is often difficult or even “pointless,” as painting for him represents an independent form of thinking that goes beyond what can be said.

He sees painting as a process that starts where language ends. He holds the view that one can only put into words what words can express – painting has nothing to do with that.

In summary: My guiding profile is the openness of the image. For him, a picture must be able to stand on its own without external explanation, since every interpretation would merely restrict the image.

An abstract painting by Peter Pölzl no longer looks like a likeness of reality, but like a battlefield of colors and layers. There are no recognizable objects, figures, or landscapes anymore.
