Pölzl Peter / poep-art - "ORO DELLE CAVE". (XXL)

Description provided by the artist
This unique original work by Pölzl Peter / poep-art – is 100% handmade. Made in Italy

The “leading profile” for the explanation of my pictures is best described in numerous images as a conscious rejection of linguistic specification. For PöP, talking about art is often difficult or even “senseless,” since painting, for him, represents an autonomous form of thinking that goes beyond what can be said.

He sees painting as a process that begins where language ends. He holds the view that one can only put into words what words can express – painting has nothing to do with that.

In summary: my guiding profile is the openness of the image. An image must be able to stand on its own for him, without external explanation, because every interpretation would merely restrict the image.

An abstract painting by Peter Pölzl no longer looks like a representation of reality, but like a battlefield of colors and layers. There are no recognizable objects, figures, or landscapes left.
