"Emberlight" shows a birch forest in an extraordinary, almost unreal light. Glowing red, coral, and orange tones fill the background and make the bright birch trunks with their distinctive dark structures stand out powerfully.
The monumental birches in the foreground form a strong contrast to the finer groups of trees in the distance. This creates pronounced spatial depth—the eye wanders between the light trunks and deeper into the landscape.
Isolated leaves in muted greens, ochre, and gold tones set calm accents within the intense color world. The open, glowing red between the trees simultaneously conveys openness and warmth and lends the landscape an almost surreal atmosphere.
The combination of naturalistic elements and a free, expressive color design makes "Emberlight" an atmospheric interpretation of the birch forest—intense, warm and at the same time still.
After stretching onto a frame, the visible image format is slightly less than 170 × 108 cm, depending on frame depth.

About the artist

Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has devoted herself to abstract and modern painting and creates large-format works that balance between stillness and movement, structure and lightness.

Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, texture gels, and metallic foils—combined in fine, often multilayered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, her images do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence.

Her artistic work follows the concept "So klingt die Stille"—a pictorial exploration of the moment between sound and silence. In this quiet, for Faber there is no emptiness, but a living force: the breath of light, the whisper of colors, the gentle pulsation of space.

Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg and are today in private collections in Europe, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates.
