This vibrant original artwork by Jordi Juan Pujol pays tribute to the classic Spirou universe, reimagining an iconic comic cover with Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse joining the unmistakable Marsupilami.

The composition recreates the humorous chaos of the original scene: Donald drives the speeding vintage taxi loaded with an enormous improvised drum kit, while Mickey and Marsupilami watch the noisy vehicle pass by. The swirling cymbals, clouds of smoke, exaggerated movement lines, and playful expressions give the scene a wonderful sense of speed and comic energy.

Created in watercolor and ink, the piece preserves the visual spirit of Franco-Belgian comics while introducing two legendary Disney characters into the narrative. The warm architectural tones, bright yellow taxi, and delicate blue washes create a lively composition filled with carefully drawn details. A distinctive crossover that brings together several icons of European and American comic culture in a single original piece.
