Description from the seller
The work depicts a solitary figure immersed in a vast flowering meadow, contemplatively facing the horizon where a luminous and vibrant land meets a cosmic, swirling sky, dense with purple nebulae and starry points of light. The composition emerges with a vibrant physical and three-dimensional presence from stone-like matter, defining a plastic contrast between the materiality of the grassy reliefs, the swirls of the sky, and the finely stratified surface of the background. The precious gold veins that traverse the composition and the carved frame represent an explicit nod to the centuries-old art of Kintsugi, highlighting the value of cracks to symbolize the beauty of vulnerability, the nobility of inner fractures, and the deep connection between the human being and the immensity of the universe. It should be noted that the work is not a true marble bas-relief or a three-dimensional physical sculpture, but rather the visual effect of a 2D canvas designed to offer an optical illusion of exceptional depth and tactile relief. A collectible conceptual artwork, where the contemplative journey of the soul meets the rigor of classical sculpture and the philosophy of imperfection.⠀

Seller's Story
Makayhos is a contemporary visual artist working between relief, mixed media, and fine art canvas.
His work explores the idea of time, erosion, and permanence, transforming iconic imagery into sculptural surfaces that appear carved, fractured, and fossilized.
Each artwork is conceived as a unique piece, where matter plays a central role and the image emerges from the surface rather than being placed upon it.
Makayhos’ approach moves away from traditional illustration, focusing instead on texture, depth, and a sense of suspended time.
All artworks are carefully produced, documented, and shipped with professional packaging.
