Once ready, "the comics" were "rented" to friends but only for a very short time and for proper compensation, which led him to think that perhaps writing comics could become a profession for his future.
Thus, having earned the diploma of "art teacher", he sends his works to a long list of publishers and soon begins to collaborate steadily with Acme di Silver, giving life to a long series of strips of Cattivik and Lupo Alberto with ever-growing success.
The time has come to crown the old dream of writing for Topolino and since 2002 he has begun collaborating with the Editorial Office. His plots are gripping, his unmistakable style.
His Mickey is a bit shy and defenseless, but generous and determined to help those who suffer from abuse, reminiscent of Romano Scarpa, whom Casty freely draws inspiration from.
Andrea was born in Gorizia on April 23, 1967 and has lived in Gradisca d'Isonzo, among the green of Friuli, for as long as he can remember.
