Elio Schiavon - Vase - Earthenware - Venice decor

A glazed block vase in splashy bright colors, with the Venezia decor, designed and executed by the Italian artist Elio Schiavon (1925-2004), who in his life created very beautifully colored glossy glazed objects.

The vase is in wonderful condition with no damage. The interior of the rim shows a minimal crack line that occurred during firing and does not extend into the outer layer. (see last photo)
