The Moment Stopped
In The Moment Stopped, the figure emerges among fragmented planes, chromatic contrasts, and a visual architecture that seems to suspend time. The face, divided between light, shadows, and geometries, concentrates the emotional tension of a scene built from introspection and silence.
The goblet placed in the foreground introduces a commonplace element that, within the composition, takes on a symbolic dimension. Its presence shapes the space and functions as a balance point between the figure and the environment, while the intense reds, deep blues, blacks, and whites establish a visually strong rhythm.
The work reinterprets Cubist language from a contemporary sensibility, using fragmentation not only as a formal device but also as a means to suggest an inner experience. The various zones of the canvas seem to coexist in different times, generating a sense of pause and continuity at the same time.
The Moment Stopped thus proposes a scene suspended between what has been lived and what remains. A moment apparently ordinary becomes an image of contemplation, presence, and memory.

Seller's Story
I am a contemporary artist based in Madrid, Spain. My work explores the relevance of Cubism from a contemporary perspective, building a visual language of its own where form, color, and composition dialogue to create scenes filled with balance, symbolism, and emotion.
Each work is an original and exclusive creation, conceived as a unique piece that reflects ongoing research into the figure, space, and expression. My aim is to create paintings that not only capture the eye but also establish a lasting connection with those who view them.
All works are signed and come with their corresponding Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing their originality and provenance.
My paintings are part of private collections in different countries and are intended for collectors who value authenticity, quality, and the singular character of a contemporary artwork.
