Office de la semaine by Collectif, first edition, in French, 584 pages, 17 x 10 cm, in-12 bound in red morocco with a gold-ruled border and central floral patera, dating to around 1750, condition reasonable, with a copper frontispiece and some old handwritten inscriptions on the first leaves.

A volume in-12 format bound in full red morocco mosaic of the era, preserving a very beautiful shine, the covers richly adorned with a broad border in gilt tooling and stamped in their center with a central fleur-de-lis framed by floral motifs, spine with richly gilded nervures and a title piece in dark morocco, gilded edges and superb bindings with endpapers in dominoté paper bearing floral and fruit motifs. Some wear and losses at the headcaps and corners.
Interior well preserved, illustrated with a copper frontispiece engraving of strong contrast and very fine endpapers. There are traces of ancient handwriting on the first leaves.
This prayer and liturgy book intended for the faithful testifies to the refinement of small personal devotion works from the classical era. The morocco binding with flower decorations and the magnificent dominoté endpapers illustrate the care bestowed on these intimate-piety objects.
The copy presents precious old manuscript testimonies on the endpaper pages, including an ancient nominative inscription mentioning “this Book belongs to Madame Lugar...”.
