Description from the seller

Ceramic bowl in archaic Greek style, early decades of the 20th century, inspired by Corinthian production and by Greek black-figure pottery. The decoration depicts Heracles in the act of facing the Nemean Lion, a subject belonging to the hero's Twelve Labors. The surface features a light terracotta-colored background with brown-black decorations and ornamental motifs of archaic taste. The bowl is characterized by two side handles and a low circular base. An decorative object with an archaeological look, made as a historicist replica of models from ancient Greek pottery. Dimensions: 18 cm in width × 13 cm in height. Good overall condition, with normal surface signs compatible with its age. Replica in the style of ancient Greek, not an archaeological artifact.

Globular lekythos in ceramic in ancient Greek style, early decades of the 20th century, inspired by Attic red-figure pottery. Globular body, slender neck, flared mouth and vertical handle. The main decoration depicts a winged female figure, identifiable by iconography as a mythological figure of Nike/Victory, set in an ornamental composition with classical taste. The decoration is rendered in red-figure on a black background, accompanied by bands and vegetal and geometric motifs. The object constitutes a historicist replica of modern production inspired by Attic pottery models, with particular attention to decorative rendering. Dimensions: 16 cm in width × 25 cm in height. Good overall condition, with normal surface signs compatible with its age. Replica in the style of ancient Greek, not an archaeological artifact.
