Brass tripod cache pot from France dating to 1850–1900, 18 cm high, 13 cm wide, about 3 kg, in good used condition with light patina and lion-paw feet.

Ancient tripod cache-pot in brass – lion-paw feet – Empire style
Elegant antique brass cache-pot / decorative container, resting on three feet terminated by pretty stylized lion paws.
The bulbous body is adorned with two geometric side handles and a wide upper rim. The whole presents a beautiful aged patina giving it character.
Dimensions :
* Height: 18 cm
* Diameter: approximately 13 cm
Estimated period: late 19th – early 20th century, around 1890–1930
Style: Empire-inspired / Neoclassical
Material: brass
Condition: good overall considering its age. Patina, oxidation, small scratches, marks and signs of wear visible. The photographs show precisely its condition and are an integral part of the description.
No recent restoration observed and no clearly identified maker's mark on the photographs.
