France-Italy - 3 plates from the Italian Campaign, War of the Italian Unification, Italian Risorgimento - Military accessories - 1860

Set of 3 historic decorative plates intended for wall hanging, made of earthenware, from the series devoted to the Italian Campaign (1859) produced by the Lebeuf, Milliet and Company Earthenware (L. M. & Cie) Creil & Montereau, as evidenced by their backmark. Circa 1860.

Each of these 3 plates is richly decorated on its rim and features in the center a scene depicting an episode of the Italian Campaign, bearing the following captions:

- “The Victorious Zouave after the Battle of Palestro”
- “Disembarkation of troops on the railway”
- “Departure of the troops from Paris”

Each plate measures 20 cm in diameter. They are in perfect condition, as shown in the photos.
