Phigied mec Sub, manual-wind movement, 28 mm stainless steel case, silver dial, leather strap, unisex, very good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
From my personal collection I am selling this splendid and distinctive Phigied mec Sub vintage watch, dating from around the late 1960s to the early 1970s.
The watch stands out for its iconic miniature diving design ("Lady / Cadet Skin Diver"): a cushion-shaped case with geometric, bold lines, enriched by the characteristic sunburst/radial satin finish on the top in full Seventies style.
The dimensions are compact and well-proportioned: 28 mm in diameter (excluding the crown), giving the wrist an authentic vintage presence—sporty yet at the same time extremely elegant.
The silvered dial with soleil finish is well preserved and full of character: raised indices with lume that has faded over time, sporty minute markers with contrasting red and black details in a roulette style, date at 3 o'clock outlined in red.
All of it is framed by a black bi-directional knurled bezel and by the domed vintage plexiglass crystal.
Inside sits a Swiss FHF 362 movement, equipped with shock protection and anti-magnetic features, clean and well preserved.
To complete the aesthetic, the watch is fitted with a genuine coconut strap.
A rare piece to find in this condition, ideal both for collectors of vintage dive watches and as an elegant timepiece for women's wrists or fans of compact divers.
More items from my collection will soon go up for auction.
