There is not a single story.
It is an anthology composed of eight erotic interpretations of poems from French literature. Each author adapts in their own way a libertine or erotic text: some in comic-strip form, others with more free-form illustrations.
The book’s interest lies mainly in the confrontation between ancient erotic poetry and the graphic style of great comic authors, notably Mœbius, Liberatore, Bess and Loustal.
