A distinctive and expressive solid bronze crucifix in Art Deco / modernist style, with a strong geometric design.
The figure of Christ is strikingly integrated into the cross, with strongly stylized lines, outstretched arms, and an expressive, elaborated face. The combination of smooth bronze parts and the rougher, hammered texture of the background gives the whole piece a lot of depth and character.
The bronze has a beautiful warm patina with golden-brown, copper-toned, and darker nuances. The natural signs of aging and use enhance the authentic appearance of this decorative religious art object.
At the top, there is an integrated hanging eye, allowing the cross to be easily displayed on the wall.
