Friki-Pop is the artistic name under which the artist develops his creative work. He is a contemporary creator whose work explores the intersection between geek culture and the vibrant aesthetics of contemporary pop art. Through this artistic alter ego, the artist develops a visual universe full of chromatic energy, where icons of popular culture are reinterpretations through a dynamic and contemporary pictorial language.

The Friki-Pop concept arises from the fusion of two cultural worlds that today define a large part of the collective imagination: on one hand the “geek” universe — related to video games, cinema, comics, anime, science fiction and sports — and on the other hand the visual language of pop art, characterized by its graphic strength, saturated colors, and the ability to transform popular images into contemporary art.

In his works, emblematic characters and symbols of global culture appear reinterpreted through visually impactful compositions, dominated by intense color palettes and electric contrasts. Vibrant colors, expressive strokes, and a strongly marked graphic aesthetic turn these figures into powerful images capable of connecting with the cultural memory of several generations.

More than mere representations, Pérez Rolo's works under the Friki-Pop concept function as a celebration of contemporary geek culture, understood today as one of the most influential drivers of entertainment and global visual culture. The artist transforms that popular iconography into contemporary art, creating pieces that combine nostalgia, visual energy, and a strong aesthetic identity.

The result is a recognizable, colorful, and dynamic artistic language that places his work at the crossroads between contemporary pop art, digital culture, and the iconography of global popular culture.

This work is a vibrant representation of Goku in his transition to Super Saiyan Blue, reinterpreted through the aesthetics of a LEGO minifigure in an expressive-pop art style. The composition stands out for its use of an electric color palette, where the cyan-blue of the hair and the iconic orange of the gi are intensified by magenta shadows and neon yellow. The technique masterfully blends gestural brushstrokes, urban grafics, and the dripping effect, giving the figure a palpable energy that seems to spill beyond the original plastic outline. The background, divided into saturated color planes, pushes the character forward, transforming a nostalgic toy into a contemporary artwork that captures the essence of the hero's power and determination.
