A lot of 39 Marvel Comics 2099 titles, published by Marvel Comics between 1992 and 1998, in first edition softcover, in near-new condition, with art by Stan Lee and others.
Description from the seller
Number ones of the early Marvel Universe's 2099 supereoi series born in 1992:
Spider-Man 2099
Punisher 2099
Revenge 2099, born from the idea and pen of Stan Lee
Doom 2099 with the following
No. 1 of 2099 A.D. published by Marvel Comics in May 1995, characterized by a distinctive acetate/foil cover with a red-hooded figure in the foreground and the 2099 characters in the background. The line does not tell a single story, but gathered and intertwined the plots of the major American titles of the Marvel 2099 line.
The Rare (14,177 copies) 2099 Manifest Destiny issue:
Manifest Destiny is a special comic book (one-shot) published by Marvel Comics in March 1998, conceived as the final act and official closure of the original Marvel 2099 editorial line. This issue was produced to provide a definitive ending and a sense of closure to all the plots and the various titles of the Marvel 2099 science-fiction line from the 1990s, which had previously been canceled or reduced.
The 2099: Manifest Destiny #1 volume, published by Marvel Comics in March 1998, had an estimated initial retailer-run of 14,177 copies.
Due to this low print run and significant historic events inside — such as the first-ever Moon Knight 2099 appearance and the origins of the Fantastic Four 2099 — the issue is today considered a highly sought-after collectible.
