Roamer Anfibio vintage hand-wound watch from the 1950s with a 30 mm gold-plated case, leather strap, 17 jewels, a Roamer-patented water-resistant case, and a unisex midsize design, reference Breveté 305467, in good condition with visible signs of wear.
Description from the seller
This stylish and authentic vintage wristwatch comes from the renowned Swiss watch brand Roamer and belongs to the iconic Roamer Anfibio model line from the late 1950s to the early 1960s.
It is a characteristic mid-size or unisex model with a case diameter of exactly 30 millimeters, excluding the crown.
This particular example is equipped with the water-resistant case design that was so revolutionary for the Anfibio series and patented by Roamer. This can be traced precisely to the four official Swiss patent numbers and the marking "Breveté" on the stainless steel case back.
The manual-winding mechanical movement is in good working order and keeps good time.
The elegantly shaped watch case is made of gold-colored gilded base metal and shows a charming, age-appropriate patina with light wear on the sharp edges and the original crown.
Under the classic acrylic and Plexiglas there is a silver-white dial in markedly clean and well-preserved condition. The dial is decorated with a refined striped texture, appliqué gold-colored indices, numeral markers at twelve and six, and a contrasting red second hand.
The watch is powered by a reliable 17-jewel movement and features a shock-resist system that protects the movement from everyday bumps.
The watch is fitted with a later-renewed, comfortable dark-red leather strap with a crocodile- or lizard-print and a lug width of 16 millimeters, finished with a gold-colored pin buckle.
This piece is in excellent visual condition and functions well.
