Introducing our Sculptural Oak Log Side Table — a unique piece balancing raw natural form with a bold contemporary finish.
Crafted from solid oak, the piece preserves the organic character of the original tree trunk on one side, while the other is enriched with a deep, almost black violet tone. This dark finish creates a striking contrast, highlighting the natural grain, contours and irregularities of the wood. The result is an expressive object that changes character depending on the viewing angle — raw and natural from one side, refined and graphic from the other.
Designed as a piece between a small side table, a pedestal for displaying an object or sculpture, and a sculptural object in its own right, it can function in different ways within an interior. Natural cracks, grain variations and irregularities are intentionally preserved as part of the material's individual character, making every piece truly unique.

THE FOREST Art & Woodworking Studio is an independent woodworking studio founded by the Paszko brothers in Zwierzyniec, Poland, a region surrounded by forests, nature and traditional craftsmanship.
Our work is built around authentic materials, slow creation and respect for the natural character of wood. Each piece is handcrafted individually, with attention to texture, proportion and detail. We do not try to hide the history of the material. Cracks, grain, marks and organic imperfections are preserved as part of the object’s identity.
We work mainly with carefully selected reclaimed wood, giving old timber a second life as functional art, sculptural furniture and unique interior objects. Every piece is finished by hand using premium oils and waxes, creating a refined, natural surface while keeping the tactile warmth of real wood.
THE FOREST is created for interiors that value individuality, craftsmanship and quiet luxury. Each object is made in small quantities, often as a unique piece, shaped by nature and finished by hand.
