THE FOREST Art & Woodworking Studio
This sculptural oak piece combines the natural warmth of light wood with a distinctive dark accent finish.
The overall tone remains bright and natural, allowing the oak’s grain and organic structure to stand out clearly. At the same time, black pigmentation appears across the top, the base and within the natural cracks and crevices, creating a subtle yet striking contrast that adds depth and character to the piece.
Balancing raw materiality with a refined artistic touch, the piece works equally well as a small side table, a pedestal for displaying an object or sculpture, or as a sculptural element on its own.
The natural irregularities, grain patterns and fissures of the wood have been intentionally preserved, making each piece unique.

THE FOREST Art & Woodworking Studio is an independent woodworking studio founded by the Paszko brothers in Zwierzyniec, Poland, a region surrounded by forests, nature and traditional craftsmanship.
Our work is built around authentic materials, slow creation and respect for the natural character of wood. Each piece is handcrafted individually, with attention to texture, proportion and detail. We do not try to hide the history of the material. Cracks, grain, marks and organic imperfections are preserved as part of the object’s identity.
We work mainly with carefully selected reclaimed wood, giving old timber a second life as functional art, sculptural furniture and unique interior objects. Every piece is finished by hand using premium oils and waxes, creating a refined, natural surface while keeping the tactile warmth of real wood.
THE FOREST is created for interiors that value individuality, craftsmanship and quiet luxury. Each object is made in small quantities, often as a unique piece, shaped by nature and finished by hand.
