A major figure of the Nouvelle École de Paris and of non-figuration, Jean Le Moal develops in his work an abstract language based on color, light and moving organic forms.
This composition, created in 1976, is distinguished by a particularly rich palette blending shades of violet and emerald, highlighted with touches of yellow and ochre. The work bears witness to the artist's chromatic explorations during the 1970s.
