POPLEA, - DOLV XL— by POPLEA (2000), an original 90 by 90 cm acrylic on canvas representing Culture Pop, signed by hand, created after 2020 in France, sold by Galerie, a unique work rolled up and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
In art, simplicity is often the culmination of great mastery. Banksy and Keith Haring have demonstrated it: creating a stroke that is recognizable among a thousand is probably one of the most difficult exercises.
Technique: acrylic on canvas
Unique work, entirely handmade, with no use of artificial intelligence.
Signed on the back by "Popléa" and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The canvas is sold rolled, not stretched on a frame.
The frame is not included and is only a presentation suggestion.
A spontaneous, naive and joyful work that brings color, joy, and good vibes (but beware, very, very good investment in the long term).
The artist Popléa:
If you own this work, you have in your hands an authentic piece signed Popléa.
But you should know: Popléa is a pseudonym.
He or she has not yet revealed their identity — voluntarily. This choice is part of a broader artistic project, a form of experiment:
Create without a name, without status, without biography.
The work alone. The image alone. What it evokes. What you feel.
The artist behind Popléa is already exhibited, recognized, collected — but wanted to explore another path, freer. To refuse filters, codes, discourses.
To refuse that it is always the same — galleries, experts, networks — who decide what has value.
Perhaps what you own is the beginning of something.
Or perhaps it is simply a work that speaks to you, here and now.
Both options are beautiful.
And deep down, that’s perhaps the true luxury.
The work is hand-signed, delivered ready to hang, in a 4x4 packaging with insurance included.
Happy bidding
Last buyer comments:
"Very happy with my purchase! The piece received is magnificent; you can immediately feel the technicality and the effort it required. The packaging was particularly meticulous."
"Exceptional packaging for a work that is just as exceptional! Thanks to the artist for this quality work."
