Description from the seller
Frederique Constant – Classics Index Automatic – Ref. FC-303X5B2.
The Essence of Discreet Luxury and Swiss Excellence.
In the landscape of high-end Swiss watchmaking, few names embody the concept of "accessible luxury" with the craftsmanship of Frederique Constant.
This specimen elevates the concept of a dress watch to art, with timeless elegance—a piece that does not need to shout to attract notice, but stands out for its clean lines and harmonious forms.
The 40 mm stainless steel case (excluding the crown).
Ultra-thin profile; the thickness of only 10 mm is a crucial detail, ensuring the watch slides perfectly under a shirt cuff without any hindrance, defining the true concept of a dress watch.
With a lug-to-lug measurement of 46 mm, the lugs curve gently downward, embracing the wrist for impeccable comfort throughout the day. The crown with knurled logo offers excellent tactile grip for setting the time.
Dial: anthracite gray / smoke gray with sunray finish.
Applied baton markers in rose gold tone, faceted to reflect light best; double marker at 12 o'clock. Luminescent dots (or subtler minute markers) above the main indices.
Dauphine-style hands in rose gold finish with central luminescent inserts.
Date window at 3 o'clock with a finely rose-gold-toned frame and a white-date disc with black numerals.
Sapphire crystal.
Automatic movement caliber FC-303 is based on the ultra-proven and reliable architecture of ETA 2824-2 (or its high-quality equivalent Sellita SW200-1), customized and finished by Frederique Constant.
The second hand moves with enchanting smoothness thanks to its 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz). This high-frequency “beat” is the hallmark of a precise mechanical movement and offers constant visual delight.
The specimen is in excellent condition, considered nearly new (as visible in the photos).
It is offered with its original Frederique Constant inner and outer boxes, a key element for collectible value.
Note: the set does not include the original papers or warranty card.
The strap is currently mounted on a refined black leather strap with crocodile-embossing from Morellato, which pairs perfectly with the black dial. The pin buckle is made of stainless steel.
The attached photos were taken in high resolution and are an integral part of the description.
Shipped via leading international express courier (DHL/UPS).
