Golden Moon Reverie – Porcelain Geisha features a contemplative female figure in a composition where blue-and-white porcelain, kintsugi, and a contemporary pictorial gesture meet.
Sitting before a huge golden moon, the young woman slightly averts her gaze. Her posture, almost suspended in time, contrasts with the energy of the setting: black ink projections, drips, flowering branches and movements of matter traverse the entire composition.
Her kimono combines deep cobalt blue with ivory white, adorned with floral motifs and gold lines evoking the aesthetics of kintsugi. The same precious fractures appear on her skin, as if the character and her clothing had been forged from a single porcelain material.
