The result is more beautiful and appreciable in real life than in the photo, with guaranteed impact!
This canvas unfolds a lush imagination where symbolism mixes with the fantastic. The central figure, hieratic and almost totemic, imposes a hypnotic presence thanks to its oversized eyes and its proud bearing. Around it, the setting fragments into naïve motifs, improbable architectures and serpentine creatures, like shards of a dream in expansion. The vivid, saturated palette creates a tension between innocence and mystery, giving the whole an aura of a dreamlike ritual. It is a work that captivates with its visual exuberance while letting a troubling strangeness surface.
Charps is an artist collected in more than twenty countries, with a few works in public collections.
