This artwork tensions the two- and three-dimensional through the physical intervention of the Control device, which breaks the surface and releases a real chromatic flow. The pop pattern of the smile, a symbol of lightness and positivity, is thus subjected to pressure and challenged, transforming the smile into an ambiguous and unstable signal.

The encounter between image, matter and object creates a visual short circuit between irony and unease, where color seduces while the concept interrogates: is happiness truly spontaneous, or is it a regulated flow?
