Hugo Schneider - Kerosene lamp - Glass, Brass

Magnificent classic style, Napoléon III elegant and detailed large antique oil lamp 80 cm.

Base crafted in solid brass or chiselled bronze with scrollwork patterns. The lamp's curvaceous body and its upper blown glass reservoir display a superb floral decoration of hand-painted pink roses, enhanced by delicate gilding in perfect condition.
Original brass mechanism with its adjustment knob.
Delivered complete with its fringed white frosted glass shade and its long transparent glass chimney tube stamped.

In very good overall condition. The glass has no cracks or chips. The paintings and gilding are very well preserved. Not tested, used only as decorative.
