DESCRIPTION:
Elegant portrait of John F. Kennedy photographed at the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., on November 22, 1961, during the official evening held in honor of the American president and West German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer.
John F. Kennedy appears in a tuxedo, accompanied by several members of his entourage.
This series constitutes a very rare photographic record of this diplomatic evening.
Manfred Kreiner was the only photographer authorized to document this event at the German Embassy in Washington.
These photographs thus form an exceptional series, directly from his original negatives.
