Negroni - Religious Frame - The Last Supper - 48 cm - Metal, Velvet, Enamel - 1950-1960

An authentic mid-century liturgical work titled "La Última Cena" (The Last Supper), produced by the renowned Spanish workshop Esmaltes Negroni. The piece is executed in rich, high-gloss vitreous enamel fired over a textured copper base plate, employing a distinctive deep burgundy, pink, and gold palette. On the left, the stylized figure of Christ is accompanied by a vertical Latin inscription reading "PANEM NOSTRUM QUOTIDIANUM" ("Our Daily Bread"). The composition features a long draped table with the twelve Apostles arranged in an expressive, linear Romanesque-revival style. The plaque bears the official "Esmaltes Negroni - Made in Spain" circular maker's mark in the bottom corner and an identical engraved brass plaque centered below the frame. It comes beautifully presented within a premium dual-tier matted textile mat and a classic molded solid walnut frame.
