About the Artwork:
“Grey Heaven” is a quiet, expansive composition shaped by a warm grey and beige sky. Subtle horizontal changes in tone move across the broad upper field, creating a restrained sense of light and distance. The low placement of the textured landscape gives the sky room to dominate and draws the viewer into an atmosphere of stillness.
A pale grey band runs above the darker lower edge, with irregular ridges and broken marks interrupting its surface. Small, dark vertical forms rise from the foreground at uneven intervals. These delicate accents establish a measured rhythm across the width, while brown, charcoal and muted cream passages add detail to the narrow strip of ground.
In its confirmed 70 × 50 cm landscape format, the painting offers a calm horizontal focal point. Its subdued palette works through close tonal relationships, rewarding sustained looking as the fine surface variations become more apparent beneath the spacious first impression."
The artwork is delivered stretched on a sturdy canvas frame and can be hung directly on the wall, however no decorative frame is included.
About the Artist:
"The Austrian painter Paul is a passionate artist since childhood. He formally graduated in art and art history before a successful fifteen-year career as a business and technology executive and pioneering startup founder. Returning to his core passion, for which he won painting competitions at a young age, Paul now dedicates himself full-time to creating artwork, utilizing distinct, hand-carved tools to generate intense, physical, and deeply emotional paintings and structures on canvas. In doing so, he bridges his innovative, structured background with authentic creative expression."
