Very scarce classic chess instruction book edited by the Reverend Edward Ernest Cunnington. The book is featuring the games of legendary American chess master Paul Morphy. And consist of around 80 pages of annotated chess games and diagrams selected largely from Max Lange's classic German work on Morphy (Paul Morphy, sein Leben und Schaffen).
Published by George Routledge and Sons, Limited, London, 1902. Publishers’ original brown cloth boards with decorations and design of chess board on the front cover, and black lettering on spine.

External covers are faded and marked, and with wear to corners, edges, and to head and foot of the spine. Internally; in good condition. No names or inscription. Pages are clean, and illustrations are in good condition (Please see pictures).
