Vintage 14 kt yellow gold ring by Dutch jewellery manufacturer Aller Spanninga, dating from the 1970s.
The ring is clearly hallmarked with the A:S maker’s mark of Aller Spanninga, the 585 gold fineness mark, and the characteristic Dutch oak leaf (eikenblad) hallmark for 585/1000 gold (14 kt).
The hallmarks are clearly visible and support the Dutch origin and 14 kt gold fineness of the piece.
The inside of the ring bears a personal period engraving:
“Elly 8-1-79 28-9-79”
The dates indicate that the ring was already in use in 1979, adding an interesting period detail to this vintage piece.
