Description from the seller

The Odyssey 2100
The Philips Odyssey 2100 was released in 1978. It uses the same casing design as the 2001. Six games—each with multiple variations—can be played on this console; all of them are built into the system.

Games include Wipe-Out (Breakout style, 7 variants), Flipper (7 variants), Tennis (2 variants), Handball (2 variants), Ice Hockey (2 variants), and Soccer (3 variants).

The Dutch TV manufacturer Philips acquired Magnavox in 1974, after which it began releasing its own versions of the dedicated Odyssey consoles in Europe.

Philips released three versions of the Odyssey: the Odyssey 200 (launched in 1977) and its successor, the Odyssey 2001, followed a year later by the Philips Odyssey 2100.

Magnavox released several *Pong*-like game consoles under the Odyssey name after winning a patent infringement lawsuit against Nolan Bushnell. Although Bushnell had indeed designed *Pong*, it bore a striking resemblance to the Odyssey's well-known tennis video game.

In Japan, the Magnavox Odyssey was marketed by Nintendo; this is considered Nintendo's first step into the video game console market.
