AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Impressive bronze sculpture of a swallow in full flight, executed in a powerful and elegant Art Deco style.
The bird is unusually dynamically shaped, with wings raised high, a streamlined body and the characteristic long, forked tail. The refined feather structure and warm dark brown patina give the sculpture a luxurious and timeless appearance.
The work is signed “H. Rischmann” and provided with the round casting mark. The swallow is firmly mounted on a heavy, architecturally designed pedestal of polished black marble. The combination of dark patinated bronze and black natural stone enhances the monumentality of the object.
A particularly decorative art object that sits well in a modern, classical or Art Deco interior. Through the pronounced silhouette, from every viewing angle the sculpture forms an attractive whole.
