AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
“The Finisher” is an expressive bronze sculpture of a male athlete at the moment of his victory.
With his arms fully open, his head held high in pride and one leg still powerfully extended behind him, he seems to have just crossed the finish line. The dynamic pose and intense facial expression give the artwork a strong sense of triumph, freedom, and perseverance.
The carefully worked-out anatomy, folds in the clothing, hands, and athletic shoes emphasize the craftsmanship. Thanks to the powerful movement, the sculpture remains interesting from every viewing angle.
The bronze has a warm dark-brown patina with subtle lighter highlights, making the shapes and fine details especially beautifully visible. The piece stands on a generous dark marble plinth with a natural gold-brown veining.
An impressive and symbolic work of art for a modern or classical interior, office, reception area, or sports-related collection. Also particularly suitable as a gift for an important victory, athletic achievement, or personal milestone.
The sculpture is in good condition. Please review the extensive photo series carefully; the photos form an important part of the description.
Pickup is available by appointment.
When shipping, the sculpture is packed with utmost care using generous protective material and a sturdy outer box. The exposed arms and other vulnerable parts receive extra protection. The shipment is equipped with tracking where possible.
