A dense tangle of leaves rises from the deep copper base toward a golden glow, as if light were filtering from above and warming every layer. The surface is built for accumulation: impressions of overlapped leaves, a granular texture that vibrates with every variation in tone. Between orange and ochre, pale pink leaves emerge, light, almost suspended in the air. At the bottom, thin stems and touches of deep blue provide rhythm and depth to the composition, a fresh counterpoint to the dominant warmth. From this grows a luminous and serene image, the memory of an autumn afternoon that does not want to end.
