Wide-mouthed vase (Hintha): Ø 20 cm
Hsun ok (Stupa-shaped container): Height ~35 cm
Condition: Good vintage condition with natural patinas and slight signs of wear consistent with age.

Description of the Lot
Fascinating and elegant trio of traditional Burmese lacquer crafts from the renowned craft region of Bagan (Myanmar), dating to the second half of the 20th century.
The lot comprises three complementary pieces showcasing the two main techniques of Burmese lacquer craft:
Round box with lid (Yun - Ø 20 cm):
Worked with the intricate method of fine-point manual incising. It features medallions with animal figures of the Chinthe surrounded by dense vegetal motifs (Kanok) in the classic crimson red and black tones.
Wide-mouthed vase (Yun - Ø 20 cm):
Spectacular engraving with micro-spiral patterns at high density. The lower part is enriched with medallions depicting the mythical Hintha (Hamsa) bird, symbol of purity and royalty. It has a red interior and a neck finished in a matching shade.
Offerings container Hsun ok (Thayo):
Ritual container in the shape of a stupa, traditionally used in Buddhist monasteries. Made with the relief lacquer technique (Thayo), adorned with gold details and inlays of colored glass/mirror tiles.
Condition:
The three pieces are in generally good condition for their age. The lacquer retains excellent luster. There are very light superficial chips and signs of wear on the edges (especially on the neck of the vase), perfectly consistent with vintage age and the artisanal nature of the item, attesting to its authenticity.
Shipping and Packaging
Tracked and insured shipping with professional multi-layer protective packaging to ensure the integrity of the lacquer pieces during transport.
