Duo de Conseillante, the second wine of La Conseillante, was produced for the first time in 2007. The Duo label reinforces the reputation of the First Wine, solidifying its status among Bordeaux's indispensable brands. Duo de Conseillante comes partly from the estate's youngest plots, in a bold replanting policy aimed at preserving optimum quality. Duo de Conseillante also consists of lots that do not merit inclusion in the First Wine's blend. Thus, Duo de Conseillante is indeed a second wine. The same rigor that guides La Conseillante is applied to Duo.
