Dagueneau Buisson Renard 2019, 0.75 L bottle from Pouilly Fumé, Loire, France; one bottle with a wax capsule entirely intact and a label that is intact and legible.
Description from the seller
The Buisson Renard tends to be a more supple, more aromatically restrained cuvée in the Dagueneau stable, and the 2019 is no different. It's probably the richer clay soils on this section of the domaine. There's a delicate savory, herbal and oak-derived nutty character. It is fine and fresh with a supple texture that holds the mouth like a gentle embrace. (RG)
Notes
The late, legendary Didier Dagueneau was responsible for elevating the Sauvignon Blanc varietal into the cult collectible space with his truly singular Pouilly-Fumé masterpieces. Since his tragic death in 2008, his son Louis-Benjamin has capably shepherded the domaine into a new era, while holding steadfast to his father's uncompromising standards
