Lord Buddha zittend in de dhyana asana - Wood - Cambodia (No reserve price)

Lord Buddha sits in the dhyana asana, the meditation posture also known as padmasana, with his hands in the vitarka mudra.

The vitarka mudra is interpreted as the hand gesture that evokes the energy of teaching and intellectual discussion, or argumentation. It often feels like the transmission of a certain teaching without words, and the circle formed by the thumb and index finger creates a constant flow of energy and information.
