Vintage magazine rack in rattan, bamboo and reed – 1960s/1970s

Splendid and elegant mid-century modern magazine rack dating from the late 1960s / early 1970s, handmade with a refined combination of bamboo, reed, and woven cane.
The piece stands out for its sinuous, warm lines, typical of Italian organic design and the Riviera of the era. Equipped with a practical and sturdy central handle wrapped in wicker, it features a cradle-like structure ideal for holding magazines, newspapers or books, resting on four solid feet reinforced by decorative bindings. A piece of great charm that adds a perfect Boho-Chic or vintage touch to any room.

The item presents in overall good vintage condition, solid and structurally intact, with the usual signs of time and age that attest to its authenticity.
For maximum transparency, the following details highlighted in the photographs are noted.
• Structure: One of the curved bamboo sections shows a partial crack/splitting near the original metallic joint point (see close-up photo). Overall stability is not affected.
• Bindings: The bindings and wicker coverings are almost entirely intact; only a slight loosening or partial wear of a filament is noticeable on one of the feet and on the handle, consistent with usage of the era.
